Nothing to say
When you’re given ‘big’ news and have nothing to say in return.
When it’s expected you’ll have an opinion and, you know what, you’re fine waiting for the details to be released before reacting.
When others expect you to act/react before you’re ready or informed.
Sometimes it’s good to do something on your own terms and in your own time. By waiting until you’re ready you have a little more time to absorb and adjust to the news or information, and to collect your thoughts and have a measured and calm response. It doesn’t always have to be about the here and now, It is also about where we go from here, and how we get there.
