Christmas Poem

OK. I admit it. I was not going to write anything about the ChatGPT tool that has everyone talking recently. I was certainly not planning on blogging about something it wrote.

But then, well, it’s nearly Christmas, and I decided to see if the tool could write a Christmas poem for Learning Designers. So, here it is. You decide about the quality and style.

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the land
Learning designers were working, with pens in their hand
Creating courses with care, for students to learn
Ensuring that knowledge, they would surely discern

They toiled through the days, and late into the night
Making sure their materials, were just right
For students of all ages, and from every place
To learn and grow, at a rapid pace

As Santa Claus flew through the wintery sky
The learning designers waved goodbye
For their work was done, for the year had come to a close
They’d given it their all, and now it was time to repose

So here’s to the learning designers, who work hard every day
Bringing education to all, in a fun and engaging way
Merry Christmas to you, from me to you
I hope your holiday season, is bright and true

Now, has anyone worked out how to add and format an attribution to OpenAI and ChatGPT?
