Personalise Blackboard

Here’s a handy little thing I learned last week – how to personalise a message for your students in Blackboard:

Enter a ‘template variable’ into the item title or body and it’ll be replaced by the appropriate content from the system.

To get the name (as above) to show you enter “@X@user.full_name@X@” (without the quote marks). Go on, try it! The code will be replaced by the ‘full name’, as logged in Blackboard.
